Racanelli Construction Company, Inc. recently announced the completion of a combined office and self-storage project on behalf of Premier Storage Investors, LLC (Memphis, Tennessee). Racanelli Construction served as the General Contractor on the project.
The project entailed the renovation of an existing one-story building which was refurbished into a project office and self-storage facility, as well as the ground-up, new construction of a 111,093 square foot, three-story self-storage building. Racanelli Construction also provided all site improvements for the project located in Union, New Jersey. Presenting a traffic control challenge during construction was its adjacent location on an existing private road for a FedEx truck terminal facility. In addition to its construction services, Racanelli Construction also assisted in securing all required building permits without the use of an outside expeditor.
This is not the first project Racanelli Construction has completed for Premier Storage Investors. The company also constructed facilities in Northvale, Butler, Florham Park, Glen Rock in New Jersey; and Massapequa and Congers in New York. Racanelli Construction is recognized as one of the nation’s leading builders of self-storage facilities. An innovator in this space, Racanelli Construction built one of the first multi-storied self-storage buildings in the United States, which has since served as a model for others. Many of the self-storage buildings the company has constructed were designed by its in-house architect, adding value in the projects’ engineering phase.
