Racanelli Construction Company, Inc. (Melville, NY, www.racanelliconstruction.com), a leading construction management, general contractor and design/build resource for commercial, industrial, retail, medical, pre-engineered and multi-unit residential projects, recently completed the construction of a new 44,000 square foot showroom for P.C. Richard & Son (Farmingdale, NY, www.pcrichard.com), the nation’s largest chain of private, family-owned appliance, television, electronics, and mattress stores. Racanelli served as the General Contractor on the project, valued at over $8 million.

Located at 701 Sunrise Highway in Bellmore, NY on Long Island, the project involved the demolition of an existing building and car dealership and the construction of the new 44,000 square foot facility including basement, ground floor and mezzanine levels and a 600 square foot parking lot. For the project, Racanelli, an Authorized Butler Builder®, used Butler’s high quality systems construction structural components in concert with conventional structural steel and block. While challenging to tie together two different structures, the experienced Racanelli team members successfully accomplished the task, delivering the project to specifications.

Serving on the Racanelli team for the P.C. Richards project were: Project Executive Marty Racanelli, Project Manager Mike Marshall, Assistant Project Manager Rachelle Felicio, and Project Super Tom Cardinale.

This latest P.C. Richard & Son is not the first store built by Racanelli for retail giant who turned to Racanelli Construction to build its Patchogue, NY store on Sunrise Highway.
