Racanelli Construction Company, Inc.is serving as the General Contractor on the Alpine Residential 189-unit housing development in Hicksville, New York. This project, which is part of a groundbreaking $111.8 downtown mixed-use revitalization project, will include apartments and retail space. It is being built on a 2.162-acre parcel of land located at 99 Newbridge Road, 4 Duffy Avenue, and 2-10 Jerusalem Avenue. The project represents a $132 million dollar investment, including a $111.8 million investment by Alpine Residential
The transit-oriented project, located in close proximity to the Long Island Railroad’s Hicksville station, is being developed by Alpine Residential (AR Hicksville, LLC). It was facilitated with the approval of the Nassau County Industrial Development Agency. It will encompass an estimated 382,725 square-foot apartment building, approximately 7,600 square feet allocated for commercial/retail space, a structured parking lot, and a landscaped public plaza. Nineteen of the 189 apartment units will be reserved for workforce housing.
Racanelli Construction will be involved in all aspects of the project which will feature wood frame construction, an exterior insulation finishing system (EFIS), Hardie panels, and a brick façade.
