On Thursday, June 27th, a group of Racanelli employees from our Melville office in New York spent the afternoon cooking meals for Ronald McDonald House (RMH) residents in New Hyde Park. The “Meals from the Heart” program provides home-cooked dinners for the families staying at the House. Volunteers from all walks of life participate in the program. Corporate teams, students, scout groups, and individuals with their families and friends donate their time and culinary talents to help those in need.
The group prepared a delicious BBQ with hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled vegetables, sausage, and side salads. Dessert was also provided. They had a great time bonding together for a great cause. RMH provides a “home away from home” for families of children undergoing treatment at nearby hospitals. The House in New Hyde Park is just steps from the Cohen’s Children’s Hospital. RCC is proud to support local nonprofits like RMH, whose mission is to build stronger communities and help those in need.
Great job, Team Rac!
