As the business of self-storage continues to grow, Racanelli continues to grow with it. Having played an integral role in the major expansion of the industry that hit the northeast in the late 1990s, we are both pioneers and ongoing innovators in self-storage construction. Racanelli built one of the first multi-storied self-storage buildings in the United States–a project so successful that it served as a model for many others to follow.
Many of the self-storage buildings we have constructed were designed by our own in-house architect. The capacity to both design and build enables us to add value in the engineering phase of these projects and to offer a variety of structural configurations. The expertise and loyalty of the subcontractors we employ not only benefit our clients in the aspects of construction specific to self-storage, but in the more basic disciplines (concrete, steel, electrical work, etc.) that are less specialized, but no less crucial to the success of the project.
